My journey to becoming an attorney started when I was in my second year of college at St. Norbert. I was enrolled in a trial advocacy class and immediately found a passion for the law. This class sparked my interest and allowed for me to understand early on how important it can be to advocate on behalf of others.

As a result of this, I joined the Mock Trial team, where I participated for two years and was ultimately named team captain. I obtained my undergraduate degree in the Spring of 2016 with plans to head to law school in the fall.

In the Fall of 2016, I began law school at Valparaiso University with the hopes of focusing on sports law. While attending law school, I was able to work within the University’s Athletic Compliance Department, while also working the sports legal clinic. The legal clinic provided me with an opportunity to advocate for others, practice client management, and continue to learn and enhance my communication skills.  For the duration of my law school tenure, I remained heavily involved with the legal clinic and was also fortunate to participate in Law Review as a student editor and as a member of the trial advocacy team.

In my final summer of law school, I interned at a local criminal defense firm with the hopes working in the Green Bay area. During my internship, I continued to learn the importance of advocating for others. Upon obtaining my law degree in 2019, I moved back to Green Bay and began working at that same local firm as a paralegal while studying for the bar exam. After passing the bar exam in 2020, I began working as an associate attorney with a practice focused on criminal defense. While I continued to learn a lot about my love for the practice of law, I discovered that my passion lies in not only advocating for others, but in making a lasting impact on the lives of my clients. When I was presented with the opportunity to join DeLeers Legal, LLC, and shift my focus to helping families document their legacy through estate planning, I decided to take a leap of faith and begin a practice that felt aligned with my passions.

When I’m not at the office…

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching baseball, practicing my photography skills, hiking, and spending time up north. Although family has always looked like fur babies, I am excited for my new journey as mom beginning July of 2023. Outside of these hobbies, I also am proud to support CASA Green Bay, where I spend my time serving as a CASA Volunteer, advocating for the best interest of youth in our community.
