My journey to becoming an attorney started when I was a teenager. From a young age, I was determined that I was going to make a difference in this world and help people navigate through life’s challenges. I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a major in Political Science and a minor in History. I then went on to obtain my law degree from Marquette University.

Upon graduation, I moved back to my hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin, to begin practicing law. For the first six years of my career, I was fortunate to practice in a larger firm setting and spent the majority of my time handling estate planning, guardianship and worker’s compensation matters.

In December of 2013, an opportunity presented itself that changed the trajectory of my career. I had the opportunity to work in the trust department at a local bank, where I was responsible for the day-to-day management of financial accounts, as well as strategizing with high net worth clients on their estate planning needs.

After seeing first-hand how my legal expertise complimented my ability to provide more comprehensive financial services to my customers, and vice versa, I decided to take a leap of faith.

In June of 2015, I left the bank, obtained my financial and insurance registrations, and began working with clients as an independent financial advisor.

At the same time, I also established DeLeers Legal, LLC so that I could continue to assist individuals with their estate planning needs. Looking back, each step on my journey was leading me to this very spot.

In addition to helping people through my practice, I’ve also had the opportunity to support my local community by serving on non-profit boards, fundraising for community organizations, and volunteering.

My philanthropic highlight reel includes

  • serving on the board of directors for The Service League of Green Bay, Inc. and Encompass Early Education and Care, Inc.;

  • serving as the chair person for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk and the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women event;

  • volunteering with the Back to School Store; and

  • being a star dancer with the American Red Cross’ Dancing With Our Stars campaign.

When I’m not at the office…

I like to spend time at home or up north with my husband and my three young children. Collectively, our family likes to stay active and connect with the outdoors, so you can find us swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, or playing outside with our furry family members.
