Meet Kaylee Court
My journey into the legal field is somewhat non-traditional. I have always had an interest in food and the food industry. While I was in high school, I participated in the ProStart program, which is a two-year, industry-backed culinary arts and restaurant management program. Participating in ProStart pushed me to pursue my passion for the food service industry even further.
Upon graduating from high school, I continued my education at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Hospitality Management. From there, I moved to the state of Oregon and worked for 2 years at a world-class golf resort. While I loved my time in Oregon, after 2 years I decided that it was time to head back home to Wisconsin so that I could see my family on a more regular basis.
When I returned to Wisconsin, I took an administrative position with the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. To be honest, transitioning into an office job was something that scared me to my core. I was skilled at navigating the fast-paced environment of foodservice and resort life. While the pace was somewhat different in my administrative role, I found it easy to adjust to and haven’t looked back.
When the opportunity to join the team at DeLeers Legal, LLC, presented itself, I was again taking a leap of faith and stretching outside of my comfort zone! While I didn’t have a background in the legal profession when I started, I was excited to try my hand and something new and build upon my administrative skills. Since joining DeLeers Legal, I have truly enjoyed working with our clients and have developed a better understanding of my true passion- providing friendly and thorough support to those around me. As a result, I am happily continuing my education in paralegal studies to deepen my knowledge of law and to continue growing as a professional.
When I’m not at the office…
I like to spend my time exploring the outdoors with my dog- Jack, spending time with my family, cooking, and reading.
